There are four crystals. These four crystals, Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind, are scattered across the land. Each of these crystals directly controls the Earth and keeps it in balance. Each crystal is guarded by their respective guardians, Lich, Tiamat, Kraken, and Lilith. Nobody has the gall to approach these crystals and nobody wants to disturb the peace. Nobody, but CAPTAIN that is. These ruthless soldiers ravaged town after town until they discovered the Water Crystal. The murderous soldiers of CAPTAIN destroyed the Water Crystal and threw the entire ocean off balance. Areas that would be completely full of water would be a dry beach the next day. The tides constantly shift. To counterattack this, the planet began summoning forth monsters. These monsters are full of the same energy that fuels the crystals. It is only by defeating these monsters that the energy may be released and the crystals restored. The people of the planet, however, were not going to sit back and let the planet do it alone. The entire planet organized the Crystalian Army. This Army is devoted to clearing out monsters and overall helping with the recovery of the planet. They’re dedicated to stopping CAPTAIN’s efforts. Are you in for the ride?
Your adventure begins in Zair, whether you were born there, dumped there, sailed there, or whichever. Either way, this is the first stop on the journey of adventurers. Where you go from there is up to you.
